The Clinical Diagnostic Laboratory provides a broad range of laboratory services supporting the diagnosis, monitoring, and treatment of diseases in children and adolescents.
The Laboratory performs clinical, biochemical, bacteriological, cytological, and other diagnostic investigations used in pediatrics, endocrinology, rheumatology, gastroenterology, pediatric gynecology, and related medical specialties.
Its key activities include:
- routine clinical laboratory testing of blood, urine, and other biological samples;
- biochemical assessment of organ and system functions;
- evaluation of coagulation and hemostatic parameters;
- bacteriological diagnostics of infectious diseases;
- microbiological investigations and assessment of microbial communities;
- cytological examinations for hormonal assessment and detection of pathological changes.
The Laboratory works in close collaboration with the Institute’s clinical departments and provides laboratory support for patient care in accordance with modern standards of evidence-based medicine.
