The Department of Child and Adolescent Health Services Research conducts studies aimed at improving healthcare delivery, accessibility, quality, and effectiveness of medical services for school-age children and adolescents.
Research activities focus on child and adolescent health, preventive healthcare, primary care organization, school health services, healthcare management, and evidence-based approaches to healthcare planning and policy development. The Department evaluates population health indicators, healthcare needs, and factors affecting the health and well-being of young people.
A major area of expertise is the development of organizational models, healthcare standards, preventive programs, and service delivery strategies designed to improve medical care for children and adolescents. Particular attention is given to preventive health examinations, adolescent healthcare, family medicine, continuity of care, and long-term health monitoring.
The Department actively contributes to national health monitoring programs, development of methodological guidelines, and preparation of analytical and policy documents for healthcare authorities. Research findings support evidence-based decision-making and the modernization of child and adolescent healthcare systems.
Through collaboration with healthcare providers, public health institutions, educational organizations, and policymakers, the Department promotes innovative approaches to healthcare organization, school health, and adolescent well-being at regional and national levels.
