Some variants of unfavourable course of the neurotic disease in present teen-agers have been defined out the basis of examinations, carried out in 197 adolescents of both sexes.

The carried out research topic enabled the authors to determine the role of remodelling processes in the cardio-vascular system and activation of the regulatory system in the development of systolic dysfunction in children and adolescent with various forms of myocardium pathology.

“To estimate the peculiarities of hormonal and metabolic deviations in menstrual function disorders in adolescent girls with excessive and insufficient body weight”
(research supervisor – Doctor of Medical Sciences, professor S.O. Levenets, 2007−2009 yrs)

Deviations in the BMI from the optimal indices have been registered in adolescent girls, aged 13–17, with menstrual function disorders more often than in their coevals in the population, irrespective of clinical variant of the pathology.

Fulfilment of the research work made it possible to establish certain correlations between sexual maturation rates in adolescents and the thyroid gland state (goiter) under conditions of a slight iodine deficiency.
